DeviceLab was selected to design this laser-enabled, keratoplasty system due to our expertise in large-scale system integration. In the process, a captivating and ergonomic design emerged and a new method was developed to mount the large outer shells and relieve stress on components. The system was completed ahead of schedule in 4 months and became a top seller. The client was so pleased they contracted DeviceLab to do 3 more similar ophthalmic carts.
